Expert Lawn Care was scheduled to pick up lawn debris on the 13th. Unfortunately twenty some members of their staff have not returned to work because of their own issues with Irma. As of now, until further advised, please follow Lee County's lawn debris pickup guidelines.

A big thank you to the Plantation Preserve Board for raising Old Glory at our community's front entrance.
The flag of the United States of America, often referred to as the American flag, is the national flag of the United States. It consists of thirteen equal horizontal stripes of red (top and bottom) alternating with white, with a blue rectangle in the canton (referred to specifically as the "union") bearing fifty small, white, five-pointed stars arranged in nine offset horizontal rows, where rows of six stars (top and bottom) alternate with rows of five stars. The 50 stars on the flag represent the 50 states of the United States of America, and the 13 stripes represent the thirteen British colonies that declared independence from the Kingdom of Great Britain, and became the first states in the U.S. Nicknames for the flag include The Stars and Stripes, Old Glory, and The Star-Spangled Banner.
Drivers, pay attention to the roads! Thousands of kids will be boarding buses, walking, or riding bikes in Lee and Charlotte counties.
Every year, hundreds of kids nationwide are hurt by drivers who illegally pass buses and don't pay attention - and a one-day study in Lee County wasn't encouraging in that respect.
The Florida Highway Patrol did surveys in April and May across the state. In Charlotte County, 73 people illegally passed a school bus and in Collier, 252.
The number in Lee County was staggering.
"Nine-hundred-fifty people ran the stop arms of a school bus... 950 in one day," said Robert Codie, Director of Transportation Services for the Lee County School District
Plantation Preserve Community,
We want to let you know that Comcast is messing up our lawns again. If you have any damage caused by Comcast to your grass, driveway or anything else please call Comcast claims department and file a claim. You will have to keep on top of it but they will fix the damage.
The second thing I want to bring to your attention is the south side of the lake. We started to work on it but due to the heavy rains we had to stop. The work will continue in September.
We hope everyone is having a safe and happy summer. School starts soon.
